Gathering of Nations

Excellent website devoted completely to the Native American Indian. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1983 to promote Native American, American Indian (indigenous) culture & tradition, and dispel stereotypes created about Native American Indian and indigenous people. Among many contributions to the Native American community, the Gathering of Nations founded and funds the Academic Scholarship Foundation for Native American Students and hosts the annual Gathering of Nations PowWow, Miss Indian World Traditional Talent Presentations, and Indian Trader's Market the last full weekend of every April at the University of New Mexico Arena in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. All are welcome at the Gathering of Nations!

The Native American Youth and Family Center

The Native American Youth and Family Center in Portland, Oregon works to enrich the lives of our Native youth and families through education, community involvement, and culturally specific programming. We have provided educational services, cultural arts programming, and direct support to reduce poverty to the Portland Metropolitan Area’s American Indian and Alaska Native Community for over 30 years.

Native Peoples Magazine

The magazine started with an initial Heard Museum-member circulation of 3,000; since then it has grown to a circulation of about 50,000 copies per issue (and a readership of 155,000 per issue). It is the only Indian-oriented magazine sold coast to coast in the United States on major news stands, including Barnes & Noble, Hastings and Borders, and is considered the periodical voice of record of the American Indian community.

A large multi-level web site devoted completely to powwows. Online since 1996, this site covers most aspects of powwow, including dance styles, drumming, and etiquette.

Twoshields Production Co. is often been requested for larger events for Native American dance and song. They offer a full production of singers, and dancers from different dance categories to smaller more intimate presentations depending on the Organizations request and budget.

United Indians of All Tribes Foundation

United Indians of All Tribes Foundation (UIATF) was founded to serve as a focal point for this renewal and regeneration in the Greater Seattle area and beyond. UIATF is led by international Indigenous human rights, community development and education leader, Phil Lane Jr., Chief Executive Officer. Lane is an enrolled member of the Yankton Dakota and Chickasaw First Nations and was a recipient of the prestigious International Award for Freedom and Human Rights from the Swiss Foundation for Freedom and Human Rights. Lane has worked in service to Indigenous peoples in the US, Canada and internationally for more than 40 years. This is a fabulous site with great pictures and format

Windmill Trading Co

We have been in business for 30 years selling materials to make turquoise jewelry as well as selling the finished product and are a member of the Indian Arts & Crafts Association for over 24 years (since 1984). This is an organization founded by traders like myself and Native American Indians dedicated to the preservation and promotion of all Native American Jewelry arts and crafts. They were founded in 1974 as a means to educate and inform the public of Indian jewelry and the beautiful arts and crafts made in this country by it's native peoples.
